Tropical Plants Card by Michelle

Hi everyone, Michelle here. Today I'm sharing a fun technique using the Tropical Plants Stamp set by Erin Lee Creative.
First thing you want to do is stamp the flower with Versamark ink and then use black embossing powder. Once you do that, take an embossing pen and color the image using the pen. I did small sections at a time. Once you color using the embossing pen you want to sprinkle clear embossing powder on those parts. When you are done the entire flower should be embossed.
Now you are ready to play! This is when it gets really fun! Using your brushes or sponges you want to put Distress Inks on and around the image blending them together as you go. Take a second every now and then to wipe off the embossed flower part so it stays as white as possible. When I was done blending I added some sparkle black paint splatters to the background to achieve that distress look.
The sentiment is from the same stamp set - more bang for your buck! You can find the Tropical Plants Stamp Set and many other wonderful products at Erin Lee Creative's shop.
Thanks for looking and hope you have a wonderful crafty day!
