Protea Bliss by Eva

Hello there friends!!! It’s Eva here today, bringing a sun-shiny card I whipped up to share with you. I used the Tilted Plaid Stencil (my new fav!) and the Here For You stamp set. Erin’s Protea’s are GORGEOUS!!! If you haven’t seen a protea, I suggest googling it. All of the beautiful natural variations of these flowers make them so dreamy.
I started out by creating the background on the card base. I masked off the center of the card front that I wanted to be white using a die cut rectangle from another piece of scrap cardstock. I layered the stencil on top as can be seen in the photos below. (Yep, that’s a different one than you see above… I think the yellow was a better color choice in the end than the marigold! But I failed to take photos while doing the yellow one.🙃.)
Here is a photo of all my pieces.
Once done with the background, I used Copics and a Sharpie to color my flowers. I then fussy cut them. I stamped the sentiment and adhered the flowers.
Thanks for stopping by today! Happy Stamping!
