Masculine Mountain - Design Team Mondays!

Hi, everyone! It’s Lynnea! I struggle making masculine cards, but I LOVE how some green and blue inks and amazing products from Erin Lee Creative make it easy to make cards for the guys in my life! I started by masking off an inch and a quarter from the bottom of a standard card and blended on some Hickory Smoke Distress Ink over the Hex Stencil from Erin Lee Creative. I was careful to use a light hand. I just wanted a bit of color, but not too much. Without removing the masking tape from the bottom of my card I lined up the Mountain Scene stencil and blended on a heavy layer of Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink. I wanted to keep in the masculine theme, so I moved the masking tape from the bottom to the top of my card and blended on Pine Needles and Evergreen Bough Distress Ink. I used the Can't Sentiment stamp set and stamped the large "can't" and embossed with black powder. I stamped the coordinating sentiment with black ink onto white cardstock and trimmed it to a skinny strip and glued it flat onto the card.
