Just A Little Note by Jennifer

Hi everyone!  Jennifer Timko with today’s inspiration for you.  While I admit that I actually like winter, I am somehow being drawn to spring colors right now.  So I felt compelled to create a light and airy card for you.

I started by creating my “flower” which actually uses the Sweet Succulents Stamp and Die Set.  I love the flexibility of these images that you can make into a flower as well as a succulent.  I found that cutting the die first and then layering on the images in my Misti worked the easiest for lining things up.  

After creating the flower and leaves, I thought it would be pretty shown against a light stenciled background.  So I pulled out this cool Funhouse Squares Stencil and sponged on a light blue ink.  So simple but such a difference maker.  Finally I added this sentiment from the Fall Critters Stamp Set.  I love this font and it is perfectly sized for a banner.
