Incredible India Card by Cheryl
Hello, friends! Cheryl here with a card using my favorite Erin Lee Creative set, Incredible India. It was the first set I bought, and I fell in love with it immediately. The detailed images are so intricate, and they lend themselves so well to heat embossing. (Psst...the stamp set and dies are on sale right now!)
Indian and South Asian fabrics are so brightly-colored, and they often have gold accents. I wanted to mimic that a little here with the gold-embossed elephants on the vibrant blue cardstock. I wish I could recreate my friend, Rabeya’s incredibly beautiful saris!
To get the spacing and placement of the elephant image just right, I used my MISTI. First I lined up and stamped the middle image, then moved the cardstock just enough to the right, and then to the left.
Because I love the elephants so much, I wanted to keep the sentiment simple but striking. This Congratulations Word Die is just right. The font is unique and beautiful. It’s great for masculine or feminine cards.
When you have an image you love, try repeating it on a card. And when all else fails, heat emboss!
Have a great day!
Cheryl

I have this set and love, love it and I adore the gold on the teal-will have to have a go at trying gold and teal-I have one question-is one of the images in this set-praying hands?
