Distress oxide + Embossing = Design Team Mondays!
Share
Hello friends!
Today I'm sharing this card for Erin Lee Creative. For this card I'm featuring the Hex and Wreath Stencils, the Holiday Blue Jay Stamp and the Big Hello Love die. On this card you will see how to use two different stencils using distress ink and embossing powder.
Let's begin! I placed the Hex stencil over a light gray A2 panel and applied Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink. Then, after the ink was dried I placed the second stencil, and applied WOW! Embossing Pad and heat embossed using WOW! Long Island Teal embossing powder.
I trimmed down a little one side of my panel and then using glue I adhered it to a white card base.
Next, I stamped only the floral part of the stamp using WOW! Embossing Pad and heat embossed it with WOW! Primary Bluetiful embossing powder.
I colored this floral using Copic markers and added some Clear Nuvo Drops. Additionally, I applied Clear Wink of Stella all over the flowers.
To make the Big Hello Love die, I die cut the word three times, glued each of them on top and then applied WOW! Embossing Pad and heat embossed it using WOW! Bird of Paradise embossing powder.
Finally, I added the Big Hello Love die on top of my card and also a few sequins.
This was my card for today. I hope you like and visit the Erin Lee Creative website for more products and deals. Have a wonderful day!
