Boho Rainbows by Eva

Hello blog friends! Eva here today with two cards that I created using the fun new Boho Rainbows stamp set.

I started this first card out by creating a background piece with black ink and the Tiny Squares Stencil. I then created the stamped rainbow piece and adhered it to the black and white background. I cut the joined piece to 3.5 x 4.75 inches using a rectangle die.

For a little extra fun, I pulled out the ole’ sewing machine and added a zig-zag stitch across the top and bottom of the rainbow part of the panel. I heat embossed the word Thanks in white on black card stock and used foam tape to pop it up. I used foam to pop this entire panel onto the card front at an angel.  To finish off the card, I wrapped it with silver embroidery floss for a little bit of shimmer.

The next card also uses the Boho Rainbows set. I stamped the leafy rainbow image in different colors and then turned the paper over and stamped it again so that the ends of the rainbow touched. I placed this panel on a black card base.

After that was done, I took a strip of black cardstock and ran a straight stitch with my sewing machine down the middle. It reminds me of stitched ribbon. I took the new Hello word die and cut it several times from cardstock. The top Hello was cut from Gold Holographic cardstock

Thank you for stopping by the ELC blog today.

Happy Stamping!

  • It’s not clear – the site indicates “the die” but your note indicates using “the top” hello. Does the hello die include shadow & hello die? Or only one? No info in site under die gir description.
