Incredible India - Design Team Mondays!

Hi, everyone! I just created one of my favorite backgrounds EVER using the Incredible India stamp set from Erin Lee Creative! And I'm so excited to share it with you! It's so easy to make and you can recreate this in any color under the rainbow!
I started using the absolutely gorgeous mandala stamps in the Incredible India stamp set with some Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide ink. When building a stamped background I find it best to start with the largest image, then move to the medium and small images. That way there is always room for the larger stamps. If you start filling the background with smaller images there may not be enough space to stamp the largest images too. I still had a lot of white space left on my card once I was done stamping my mandalas, so I used two ends of a stylus and tapped it on my Hickory Smoke ink pad and used it as a "stamp" for the tiny dots to fill in my background. I had a different idea for this card in the beginning - but I'm seriously so obsessed with this background that I didn't want to cover it up!
Instead of covering the background with an image I decided to use a script sentiment die - the Love You Forever die seemed perfect! I die cut it five times from black cardstock, glued them together for a dimensional look, and added a double coating of clear embossing powder to the stacked die cuts before adding it to the center of my card. Here's a short tutorial for you to watch!
